The location was really handy, just a short walk to the tube which made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, especially Ulvi who helped me with my luggage and made me feel welcome right from the start.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for the quality, I thought it was alright.

Comfy stay with fab views

I had a great time here for 1 night! The room was clean, and the bed felt like a cloud. The balcony had an amazing mural and a view of the gherkin. Staff were super nice, too! Only thing was the shared bathroom could get busy at times. The location was perfect—so close to the tube!

Walls are thin, so you'll hear activities from adjacent rooms, which might bother light sleepers. The shared bathrooms, while clean, require a bit of patience during peak hours, but I never faced a long wait. There’s no AC, and on warm nights, it can get stuffy, even with the patio doors open. The shower in my room had a leak, which made it tricky to use effectively. the TV offered limited channels, so if you're hoping for a quiet night in with a classic holo-film, you might be disappointed.

I enjoyed my stay at Gate Guest House. The location provided easy access to transport, and the staff's attentiveness was commendable. the noise from shared facilities could be a bit disruptive. a delightful experience for budget-minded travelers.

The noise from the corridor was noticeable during the night, with talking and footsteps waking me up occasionally. The shared bathrooms were often occupied, and there wasn’t enough privacy with just one bathroom for multiple rooms. Could really use more mirrors in the bedrooms to ease up on the bathroom congestion. it would be great if some additional services like late check-in or baggage storage didn’t have extra charges.
